[TSVN] Result of the performance race

Hi Will and Stefan.

I tested Dec-19 nightly and it appears that the optimizations you guys
have implemented since my earlier problem reports have had quite dramatic
results. Even with those 600+ files root folders it's max 1 sec wait for
icons to appear. Scrolling afterwards is very smooth, it may jerk slightly
only 1-2 times. This even when I'm moving the scrollbar. This is _far_
better then just a few days ago. TSVN beams selfconfidence and it feels
like a friend.
Just wanteded to make sure you guys understand you aren't fixing ghosts,
it's actually improving TSVN a lot, thanks a lot for your hard work so
far!
