1. many people report bugs here, and I fix them as fast as possible
2. never put the word "bug" in the mail subject line - you haven't coded
the program and so you don't know if it's a bug or not. Developers tend
to get angry reading such mails.
3. If you don't get an answer right away, don't just resend the mail.
This is not polite because you're expecting the developers to be at your
service - they're not! You don't pay them at all, you're using their
hard work for free - so don't expect them to help you for free too.
4. Since you're not paying for the product, you also don't have the
right to complain about it. You can make suggestions, report what you
like to have changed and why, even ask politely if what you found may be
a bug. But nothing more.
5. Never, ever accuse the developers of not knowing what a bug is. At
least not if you ever expect an answer again from them.

I'm sorry for your loss of time. Care to pay for my time I spent on this
program?
Yes, I answered your mail with subject "bug ..." (see rule 2 above) a
little shortly. I was working on a new feature for TSVN and your mail
had "bug" in the subject, so my mood lowered the moment I read the
subject line. Then, your mail was TOFU (Text Oben, Fullquote Unten -
means translated "text above, fullqote below") which is against our
mailing list etiquette and almost impossible to read.
Then, right after I sent my answer, you replied with

Now read that again. Can you see that this is an answer which would make
every developer very angry? You can answer that way to people you pay,
they maybe will just shut up and never tell you what they think about
you - you don't pay me so I tell you what I think.
