I think we had this kind of discussion already:

a treeview has to show intermediate folders, even if those folders
aren't changed/modified and don't get committed. That's not good. Also,
imagine the following folder layout:

readme.txt
/com/mydomain/src/resources/lang/de/text.txt

Now picture how the dialog would look like if only those two files were
modified. The commit dialog would look UGLY! And don't tell me that this
would help for the overview of the files. I'd rather have a list of files.
