The only thing that comes to mind is the nightly builds. Can you try it
with the latest nightly build again?
Oh, and check the file directly with your browser too, not just after a
checkout. I mean maybe it's not the import that fails but the checkout?

But as others reported, they can reproduce it. So maybe they can help
with some more ideas on what to try out next.
