I haven't tried, but I wouldn't expect it to be any different, because it's
a "protocol://" (insert: http(s), svn(+ssh), file) access to a repository.
The physical access is handled by the subversion libs and these should check
for the existence of hooks and call them if they are available independent
of the protocol used.
