Yes, but you run the risk of hitting Ok and committing when you aren't
ready with this, although it is the option I currently use.

But sometimes you only want to view my changes so I can code-review what
I've done, I don't always want to see the changes between mine and head,
hence the reason I use the 'commit' method to view local changes.

'Diff' is available for files, so why not directories also?
