[TSVN] The VCC property not found on the resource

Hello,

I installed subversion 1.1.1 on my linux box. Installed tortoisesvn 1.1.1.

I created the repository using:

svnadmin create f:\svnrepos

The directory was created with all the required folders.

I started the server as standalone daemon and made it a service using the
wrapper help given in the tortoisesvn docs.

I know its running as if I do:

telnet 192.168.1.2 (my local ip) 3690, i get a response:

( success ( 1 2 ( ANONYMOUS ) ( edit-pipeline ) ) )

Now I went ahead and tried to import my project in subversion using
Tortoisesvn import function and i get the error:

The VCC property not found on the resource.

Even if I do a repository browsing using:

http://192.168.1.2/svnrepos I am getting the same error.

Can somebody tell me whats wrong? I know I am doing something very stupid.

Regards,
Ritesh
