I'd like to second that! I had been mulling over implementing something
like cvsgraph, for svn, but this is much cooler.

And another:

I'm currently looking at the history of a repository with commits from
13 users. Some of the colours used are identical, or nearly identical,
between two or three users, making it impossible to tell which is which.
Obviously there is a physical limit to human hue perception that's
going to limit how many separately identifiable colours there can be,
but I think the current selection of colours in my simple 13 user case
could improve a bit.

Right now the colour list I see is:

red, orange, yellow, lime, green, green, turquoise, lt-blue, med-blue
   blue, purple, magenta, fuschia

If the 2nd green and the med-blue were replaced with black and grey
respectively it would be much easier to read. (Maybe someone has done
user group tests to determine the ideal list of colours.)

This type of approach solves for up to Maximum Easily Humanly
Identifiable Separate Colours (MEHISC), but for sites with many more
users, a different approach must be taken.
To get up to 2 or 3 x MEHISC, both solid, dashed and dotted lines could
be used. To go beyond that perhaps the only way is to draw all lines in
grey, and highlight in blue the clicked username. (Adding more
complicated UI, I know.)

This is with tonight's nightly, built from r1915.
