You don't say what version of VS you're using, but I can't imagine you can
have spent very long looking, especially as you seem to already know the
matching terminology!

In VS2003, which is the only one open at the moment (it's the same in
2002), you need to look at either 'Custom Build Step' or 'Build
Events'. Both in the project properties.
