I believe that SOAP would be a big overhead for a versioning system,
and my experience has shown that implementing SOAP services, even if
SOAP is supposed to be simple, can be a huge headache. And we don't
wanna give users a headache don't we ? :)
Like Lars said, simple formats like RSS / XXX Separated files should
be more than enough for what we are looking at. Implement such file
formats is possible for most developers in most languages, so I would
amend that approach.
