Check the version of the TortoiseSVN.dll in your installation directory.
If it's the newer version you installed, then you're good to go. If not,
then you have to uninstall first via the control panel.
I don't have the book here at home about the msi (it's in the office),
but I'll check next week if an uninstall is really necessary in that
case. (As you know: the version number doesn't change, at least not the
part that msi recognizes).
