Ahhh. I never noticed that. It's the +1 that threw me. The few times i
tried show log i saw the extra one that i knew wasn't updated and i
assumed that all log messages back to the start of the branch were being
shown. I should have looked more carefully.
Just to clarify. Is the revision number of the +1 the revision of the WC
before the update?

Yeah, it's the 'before you update' that's the catch. It's not until
after i had done the update that i realised i needed to know the
previous revision of the WC.
Now that i know how it works i should be able to use the Show Log button.
