[TSVN] data authenication of user data and password

Hello all,

Could someone give me some more details on the methods used to
encrypt the user data and password in TortoiseSVN version 1.1.0?

I have a requirement to secure the password based on a pilot of an earlier
version.
I want to explain the method to my security section
before downloading Tortoise for version 1.1.0.

The change log for Version 1.1.0 RC1 states

>- ADD: On Win2k and later, the authentication data is now
       encrypted before saved. The encryption is not available
       for the other OS's. (Stefan)

and I foudn this in the mailing list when 1.1.0 was released:
