[TSVN] Explorer slowness

Hi Folks,

I am a long time TortoiseCVS user and have just recently started working
with TortoiseSVN. Everything is functioning, but I have noticed that
when I start browsing svn directories via XP's File Explorer, my system
just dogs bigtime - it takes over 30 secs to list the contents of a
directory.

I have searched the archives and seen lots of references to this same
problem, but they were all dated back in 2003...surely there is a
solution by now?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated...
