Another belated thought. If you are familiar with CVS, there is a section in
the SVN manual (download from the Subversion site, or view html online) on
the differences between CVS and SVN. I am not that familiar with TCVS,
although there was a recent(ish) thread from a TCVS user who found the
checkout operation confusing: unlike CVS, SVN checks out into an empty dir
instead of creating the folder name that you are checking out.
There are differences between SVN and CVS, and between TSVN and TCVS. If you
are familiar with one system, the other may seem counter-intuitive at first,
but it is worth persisting because there are very real advantages in SVN.
