Is there anything that can be done about this, like:

A) Immediately show a message: "File %foo in revision %bar cannot be
annotated because ist binary" instead of going through all the revisons (at
least that's what it looks like) and then fail without giing a proper
message.
Grmbl *$§%! automatic spelling correction sucks! It always makes 'ist' from
'its'.

B) while going through all the revisions, start annotating when blame finds
a format that can be "blamed". Does this make sense at all?
