So I wonder... what is the intension with the check box "save
authentication"?
- save it once and you won't have to authenticate again?
- save it once for each directory?
- save it once for each file?

Is the implementation of the password file a feature without much interest
(for users and developers) because most people use ssh?

TIA,
Roland
