Please note that not only TSVN changed to 1.1.0 RC1 but Subversion did
too. There are a lot of changes in the Subversion code between the 1.0.x
versions and the upcoming 1.1.0 version.

You have explained it well enough. I could reproduce the problem. And I
stepped through the code of TSVN: the path is passed correct to the
Subversion library API - but the function returns immediately with an
error. So something in the Subversion library code changed so that those
paths don't work anymore.
