[TSVN] Politics of SVN

I don't have any gripes really (being new), but have you thought about posting a list of issues *you* think are a problem with SVN, so that the rest of the TSVN users group can hassle the SVN people about??

My only issue is with the .svn / _svn thing (yeah, I know, it's all been discussed before my time! LOL). But I'm gonna say my piece anyway :)

It's not your problem Stefan. In my opinion the standard folder name should be '_svn' in Windows on *all* clients, and '.svn' on Unix.

There's a good reason for having a leading period on a Unix file system, it means something special. But that isn't the case on Windows. You could call it 'SecretHiddenSubversionFolder' for all Windows would care!

But it shouldn't be a TSVN issue - it's broader than that.

Ok, I'll shut up now! But seriously, think about starting a list of 'Windows issues' that the SVN people arn't addressing. I'll lend my support and I'm sure loads of others would too.

Most of the time, no. But maybe it's because I don't make myself always
clear. And I'm only one person - it helps a lot if more people are
complaining about the same problem, not just me.

Sometimes yes. Especially if it's a problem which only affects Windows.
That's usually a very hard thing to convince them to do something about
        it ;)
