Most of the time, no. But maybe it's because I don't make myself always
clear. And I'm only one person - it helps a lot if more people are
complaining about the same problem, not just me.

Sometimes yes. Especially if it's a problem which only affects Windows.
That's usually a very hard thing to convince them to do something about
it ;)

But lucky me: Ben Collins-Sussman just replied with an algorithm I can
use to check the FS type.
