What do you mean by "module"? Subversion doesn't know any "modules" like
CVS does. If you're talking about folders, then sure it won't work! When
you bring up the commit dialog, TSVN does a _recursive_ status check, so
it scans _all_ folders in your working copy, including the one which
might be corrupted.
