I wonder if there any stats available on O/S usage for
Subversion? What about d/l stats for TortoiseSVN?

As per the usual FOSS argument, if windows users want
windows problems resolved, then they can always help
the svn developers by contributing their own patches.

However, aren't CollabNet paying the wages of some
of the subversion developers?

http://svnbook.red-bean.com/svnbook/ch01s02.html

And if you have a look at CollabNet's site, in particular:

http://www.collab.net/developers/tools/

You will see TortoiseSVN at the top of their list!

To me this indicates CollabNet have a vested interest
in satisfying the needs of windows developers.

Just a thought...(carrots taste better than sticks:)
