I think this may actually be a Subclipse problem.
SVN is set by default to store passwords in the Mac OS X keychain. After you authenticate with Eclipse, the Keychain entry will have the following settings:
Confirm before allowing access
If I change it to "Allow all applications to access to this item", Eclipse will no longer prompt me each time.
So maybe a different process (other than Eclipse.app) is trying to do the SVN authentication? And something's preventing Keychain from showing the "Allow access" dialog?
