There is no universal definition of temporary files. Subversion and
Eclipse provides numerous ways to ignore files. You would have to be more
specific.

The only thing I can think of that is in the preferences is the Eclipse
ignored resource list which is directly under the Team preferences. This
is a set of resource patterns you want to ignore like *.class.
