[Subclipse-users] Please Help!

I am stuck in "Refresh SVN cache status" hell! As soon as I start eclipse it launches a bunch of these refresh tasks and it becomes unresponsive. How do I fix this or worse case how do I disable it so that I can just uninstall Subclipse?
