Indigo/Helios who cares :) Subclipse supports Eclipse 3.2+ so the version
does not matter.

You do not have to uninstall SlikSVN. I simply wanted you to know that it
is not needed and it will not be used.

If you do not see SVN in Share Project, than the Subclipse plugin is not
installed.

The perspective name is "SVN" or "SVN Browsing" Do not recall.

Eclipse shows that Subclipse 1.8.16 is installed (I simply clicked both

It seems like the plugin is at least not active. Even if something like
JavaHL were broken, it would not prevent the perspective or Share option
from showing up. The mere act of Eclipse parsing the plugin.xml is all
that drives those UI features.

I would check your Error Log to see if it has anything in it.
