svn+ssh:// protocol can be pretty hard to use if you are not a regular
SSH user. I would recommend you use Subclipse 1.6.x and not 1.8.x so
that you can install and use the SVNKit plugin. You will need to
configure your preferences under Team > SVN to use SVNKit in place of
JavaHL.
I usually recommend JavaHL, but the exception is people that need to
use svn+ssh:// and do not already have an existing OpenSSH client
installed.
Usually you login via SSH using a certificate keypair that you
generate with your SSH client. Some servers might use a username and
password instead. Since this is defined by the server it is not
something we can help you with.
