Yes that sounds like the right thing to do.

Didn't think about that case because I'm mostly using TSVN, and
windows explorer does not allow to select files from different folders
at once.

It is possible from a search result window though. And because TSVN
'fails' in that case too, I'm crossposting to the TSVN user list.
