You are not going to find errors logged from an app that crashes hard
like that. The JVM dumps usually go to the current directory which is
typically the folder where the Eclipse executable lives.

You can also try starting Eclipse from a Terminal. Then when it
crashes there will sometimes be information logged in your Terminal.
