[Subclipse-users] [Subclipse-Announce] Subclipse 1.8.0 Released - includes Subversion 1.7.0 support

Subclipse 1.8.0 has been released today. The update site for this
release stream is:

http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.8.x

This release includes Subversion 1.7.0 support. Note that SVNKit does
not support the SVN 1.7 working copy format yet so we currently only
support JavaHL. Binaries are included for Windows 32 and 64-bit. For
other OS you should obtain the JavaHL binaries before installing this
Subclipse release.

Subversion 1.7 introduces some nice performance improvements and we
are able to leverage those in Subclipse as well as add our own. We
have been using this release stream for a couple months and I find it
to be pretty stable. However, note that a decent number of
TortoiseSVN users seem to be having problems upgrading existing
working copies to 1.7.0 as the process is revealing corruption in
their working copies. So you might want to wait for a 1.7.1 release
of Subversion or at least be prepared to checkout a new workspace.
That way you can easily use a 1.6.x and 1.7.x client if needed.

The complete changelog for this release is available here:

Zipped update site is also available for download.
