[Subclipse-users] How to switch to a deleted branch?

Hi,

this may be a really odd thing to do, but for my research project I'm analyzing the development history of stuff, so please bear with me:

I have a repository in which at some point a branch existed like

branches/my_branch

and later that branch was merged into trunk and then deleted. What I tried to do with subclipse was the switch to that branch, giving subclipse a revision number during which that branch was active. But subclipse says "filesystem has no item ..."
I get essentially the same error message when I copy the command that subclipse runs to the commandline.

If I run a simple checkout on the commandline with the correct revision number, the stuff is of course there, but switching doesn't work. Is this something that just doesn't work with SVN or is it something the subclipse doesn't support?

Jochen
