If we have a preference with that name, it means something else.
I recall someone a long time ago added a feature that if you create a
new project and the parent folder where you create it is a SVN working
copy it would automatically add it to SVN as a sub-folder. It was for
a pretty specific use case.
We do support Eclipse nested projects, but I recall that mainly means
not getting confused in the decorators etc. when you have a project
that essentially appears in the workspace twice. You can see issues
