I am having an issue when trying to checkout from Subversion (using Subclipse) and when chosing the new project location I go through the options to follow the new Creation wizard. From there, if one has RSE installed, you can choose from the options drop down to instead of using the 'Default Workspace' you can choose an RSE location. I have a network space setup with SSH/SFTP login.
So in short, i am using a client Eclipse IDE on computer (A) to checkout from subversion on Server (B) vis ssh+svn, and create a new project & store the files on my network drive located on Server (C) via ssh+RSE. The files never reside on Computer A, i am basically using the client to checkout from Server B and Edit on Server C. (Web Application development for those who are wondering, so having the files reside on a client dev PC isn't an answer).
It begins the check out process then crashes. Subclipse notifies me of a Java Null Exception Pointer Exception.
I found reference to a very similar problem from a 2 year old post on the RSE project page, and they refered the individual to Tigris (http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/subversive-dev/msg00019.html).
Any info to resolve this issue would be much appreciated. I have tried and repeated theis error with Subclipse on Eclipse Galileo & Helios, on windows Xp, 7, and RHEL 5.3.
