Hello all,
I have been a subversion user for several years, and all the time I
have been missing one feature which I have come to appreciate during
my use of the trac subversion frontend: timeline and changeset browsing.
By this I mean the ability to view the "timeline" of the repository,
i.e. the list of revision numbers recently committed. From each
revision number, I can drill down to the files changed in that
revision (called "changeset"), and for each file I can go to a diff
view to inspect the individual changes.
This way I can always find out what has happened to the repository in,
say, the last 12 hours. I find no such capability in subclipse,
although I would regard it as something very basic.
The only feature that has minimal similarity is the history view,
which for a given resource and revision number shows me the other
resources (called "paths" for whatever reason) that were changed in
the same revision. However, to inspect the changes for a given
revision, I first have to guess a resource that was changed in that
revision, so that I can go to that resources history. Moreover, the
view section that shows the other "affected paths" is so tiny, badly
laid out (showing most paths in almost unreadable light grey) that I
hardly want to look at it.
Now, have I missed something obvious, or is there really no (other)
possibility to view the revision timeline and the affected resources
for a given revision?
thanks for reading and answering,
Christian
