[Subclipse-users] JIRA Integration question

I've set up JIRA Integration with subclipse but I'd really like it if, rather than having to type in a JIRA defect number in the subclipse commit dialog, I could select from a list of open JIRA tickets. (less room for error).

I found this thread from 2006:
http://subclipse.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=1043&dsMessageId=812478
where someone appears to have submitted a patch to do just that - query JIRA for a list of tasks that the user can select in the UI to check in against. This thread seemed to conclude that this functionality would be included as part of mylyn.

I've tried installing mylyn and the subclipse integration but it doesn't appear to support this - the subclipse commit dialog still just has a text box labelled "JIRA issue".

Does anyone know if it's possible to do this?
