[Subclipse-users] Compare with pegged revision

I have a file that's been deleted and replaced. I want to compare the current version to one of the versions before it was deleted.

On the command line, I would compare with a pegged revision, e.g. file_at_123.

If I do Compare With > Branch/Tag, and enter a revision number, is it treating that number as a pegged revision, or an operative revision?

As far as I can tell, if Compare Type is "Graphical", it uses the operative revision, and if it's "Unified diff to output file", it uses the peg revision.

Is this right? It seems like they should at least work the same way.

It would be better if we had the choice to use a pegged revision, maybe with a "don't follow copies" checkbox. I think the default should be to use operative revisions, since that's what you see when you click "Select..." to browse revisions.
