Since it doesn't look like the mailing list mails responses back to me, I'm
responding to my own message. I see markphip responded to me at [0].

I don't want to view the diff next to the commit-comment. I want to view the
diff in its own dialog. I see the toggle, but when I double-click on a file
to view the diff it just opens up the view on the side again.

When I use the "Commit" dialog box, usually my focus is solely on the commit
comment. If I'm interested in what changes will be submitted, I double-click
the file and then my focus is that individual file, not the file + the
commit comment. When this happens, the commit comment textbox is just an
annoying box off on the left of the diff viewer.
