Mark - Thanks for the prompt reply.
I was never able to get SVNKit working. I have full read/write permissions to the Eclipse keyring file (configuration/org.eclipse.core.runtime/.keyring), so not sure why it would be failing to remember my password.
I was able to finally get JavaHL working successfully. I had tried it unsuccessfully prior to posting my question, but today when I tried to set it up again it seemed to work well. I think I might have overwritten the other java.library.path settings with just the /usr/lib/jni value, but this time I appended that at the end of the value I got when looking at the current value in the About Eclipse ... Configuration Details dialog.
BTW - On Ubuntu 9.04 I got JavaHL installed fine with "sudo apt-get install libsvn-java".
Thanks again.
