Please forgive me for asking this here, but it seems these forums are monitored more frequently and I'm at a dead-end.
I'm just a single php programmer working on a small project for a client. I'd like to use some form of source control with eclipse. I'm using xampp for the development environment on my machine because thats all there is.
is there a simple way to get subversion or subclipse or whatever working so i can track the changes i'm making to the php file base?
All the php files are also stored locally on my machine. How would I go about setting this up so I can get this working? I created a new repository but I can't figure out how to add the php sources files to it. I have a workspace and php project going and I have added the source files to this project.
I accept that this forum is not intended for this type of question and ask for your patience. If you can point me to any tutorials or readmes I would greatly appreciate it.
I read the documentation in eclipse but they all assume that the repository is setup and working on a server somewhere, in my case, all i have is my machine.
thanks so much.
