Are you using ssh-agent or something to enter your passwords? If not,
then how is SSH going to get your credentials? Maybe you were using
SVNKit before, which provided it's own Java GUI SSH client?
Try starting Eclipse from a Terminal and see if the SSH prompts then
show within that terminal.
