We use this plugin (with a slight modification) for automatically building
KNIME every night and it works like charm. The project is not active, that is
true, but it doesn't need to be. The only thing it does is parsing the map
file and creating svn-ant-tasks from it and this just works, so no need for
any changes :-)
The only thing I struggeled quite heavily was getting the right libraries
inside the various plugins involved in the build to be loaded right.
