You have run into a bug with Subversion. You should report it to
users_at_subversion.tigris.org with any other detail you can. It would
help if you could recreate it from the command line. Try running the
command svn status -u from within the same working copy and see if
that gives an error.

If you get this error repeatedly, then I'd then recommend you switch
to using SVNKit until there is a fix. Assuming you have installed the
SVNKit plug-in, you should be able to switch to it from JavaHL in the
Eclipse preferences under Team > SVN.
