[Subclipse-users] History View

Hi all

Our subversion server went down this morning and I noticed that the
history view / and progress areas are showing lots and lots of attempts
to fetch SVN revision history. It looks like every time I open a file,
subclipse (?) is going off to find the file history. My history view is
open in a tabbed area but is not uppermost so is not really in use /
active.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel these operations, pressing
the stop button in the progress area has no effect. It just made eclipse
stall and provide me with some error dialogs.

Is there anyway of turning off this behaviour ? I have had a look in
help and can't see anything. It occurs to me that, even when our
subversion server is restored, I don't want this happening. I'd like the
revision history area to be populated on-demand.

Thanks

Chris Faulkner
