I do multiple checkouts quite frequently. Often as many as 18
projects at a time. I've never experienced this. Are the users aware
they need to select all the projects? For example, in my case /trunk
contains 18 sub-folders which are all projects. I have to select the
18 folders, not the trunk folder.

In terms of Synch view. Cannot think of a case where outgoing changes
are not showing up. What I always do is use the Wizard on the view's
toolbar to Synchronize all SVN projects in my workspace. I then "pin"
that Synchronization and set it to run hourly. Outgoing changes of
course appear immediately, but the hourly is to check the server for
updates.
