Two points. First in my environment, I cannot reproduce Jean-Noel's
experience. I have Windows, Eclipse 3.2, Subclipse 1.4.1. The "include
unversioned files" checkbox behaves as I would expect it to. And once I
untoggle it, the unchecked state persists beyond the Eclipse session.
Second, Greg, svn:ignore does not seem to conflict with the checkbox in
my setup. When I check the box, I only hides/shows files that purely
unversioned - my ignores still work. Those files are never on my list.
I'm not using any wildcards - just specific file names. I don't know if
that makes any difference.

why unversioned items are autocommited ???
It looks like from the team synchronizing perspective it ignores
any properties set, eg svn:ignore, and wants to add all unversioned
files if the check box is ticked. Not sure if its possible to check
this setting?
