I did answer. The feature just provides UI enhancement. Mainly in
the history view. This is explained in the link. The feature does
not do anything at all with merge. If you are looking for easier
merge you need to be using Subversion 1.5 on your server, because
merge tracking is a new feature. And the CollabNet merge client also
simplifies the merge process. The client can work without a 1.5
server, but a lot of its simplification features require 1.5.
