Marc-

I didn't really see anyone else reply. It looks like svnant is not
really supported anymore (last changes were nearly a year ago). Seems
like a project I'd be interested in taking up, if I ever got
motivated...

I'd try downloading a build of Subclipse/Subversion that roughly matches
the last release of svnant, so a build from about a year ago. If svnant
is important enough to you, it might be worth living through any bugs or
lack of features. Potentially although not necessarily, you might need
to roll with an earlier version of Eclipse as well. Sounds like a lot of
work just to use one plug-in.

Subject: [Subclipse-users] svnant and eclipse 3.4

Greetings all,
I've been futzing with this all night and am appealing for help.
I've got an HP with Windows 64bit, running eclipse 3.4 rcp version.
latest subclipse installed.

I'm trying to run svnant, and I'm getting nowhere. When I use the 1.0
release, I get the dreaded "Cannot use javahl nor command line svn
client". I've got this on my path variable:

C:\Program
Files\eclipse_34_rcp\plugins\org.tigris.subversion.clientadapter.javahl.
win32_1.5.0

I've restarted eclipse, but no dice.

When I use the 1.1-rc2 release (i..e I put those jar files into my
classpath instead of the ones from the 1.0 release), i get this:

This client is too old to work with working copy 'blah blah blah';
please get a newer Subversion client

Now, I've used svnant for a long time now and haven't had any problems,
so I'm forced to believe it's either a problem with A) Eclipse 3.4 or B)
windows 64 bit.

any thoughts/advice/guidance?

thanks!

Best,

Marc
