[Subclipse-users] Initial import into an empty repo fails

From: Robert Eckstein <Robert_Eckstein_at_asg.aon.com>

I recently installed Subclipe 1.4.x.

I now can no longer share a new project. ( initial Import )

When I attempt this I receive the following message

Warning: The specified folder already exists in the repository. If you
continue, that folder will be checked out to your local workspace and your
project will be connected to this existing location. Do you want to
continue?

When I choose Yes I get

Error while creating module:org.tigris.subversion.javahl.ClientException:
snv: URL 'MY SVN URL' doesn't exist.

The repository is new so it should be completely empty.

The first warning makes no sense to me the second how ever does since it
is trying to check out something that doesn't exist.
