I do not have Subclipse handy to check, but are you sure that is what
you see? I recall a different problem. The files are shown but they
do not get reverted. The reason for that is that we made a major
performance optimization to do the revert command recursively when we
could. The issue is that the Subversion API will not descend into the
externals folder to do the revert.

Still a bug that has to be dealt with, but slightly different from
what you have said.
