[Subclipse-users] After setting up SVN project, no SVN settings are actually stored

This is running on Windows XP
Eclipse 3.4 (CDT)
subclipse 1.4
JavaHL adapter 1.5

I do the following steps:
1. Create new SVN project, specify repository.
2. I choose the top level folder, so it does connect to the SVN server.
3. Open this as a new C++ project (empty executable).

After hitting finished, no sources are synchronized and the project
folder only has the .project and .cdtproject files.
Selecting properties for the new project does not show any Team settings.

Am I missing a step here?
I did uninstall subclipse 1.2 prior to installing 1.4 (there was no
upgrade option).

Thanks.
